The end of the Harry Potter journey? I think not. Although the movie and book franchises end here and now, the story will live on. Cheesy and all, but I really do love the series. This year truly marks the biggest transition in my life so far, in small and big ways. Toy Story 3 (don’t screw it up by making a fourth movie, Pixar), finally seeing my favorite band of all time, Anberlin, live with my friends, graduating from college, trading in my oh-so-loved sneakers for heels as everyday footwear, and now, the last installment of Harry Potter. All signs point to growing up and moving on to bigger and better things. Exciting and scary, daunting and exhilarating. But I think the most important lesson to learn from all these movies of our childhood is that when faced with something grand, the great unknown future, the best thing to do is face it head on with as much courage that we can muster and faith that all will be well in the end.
